This year Crestview is excited to become a member of Project Green Schools! Using their model, 13 Pathways to Greening Your School, we will be inviting our community to participate in monthly themes.
World Water Day is on March 22, and in celebration, we will honor the theme of WATER all month. This United Nations' event encourages us to have conversations about what water means to us and our family. These conversations can range from water conservation to caring for our oceans to water disparities. Through interactive resources, picture books, and service-learning opportunities, we hope to inspire these conversations even further.
It is our intention with presenting monthly themes that we can broaden the conversation around climate change and move toward making our school greener as a community. If you have something to share that fits in with our monthly theme, please let us know.
