Mindfullness

Namaste. In kindergarten, we have been working on breathing through big emotions and practicing yoga! Students learned how to stay calm and not give up when things don’t go as planned through our many breathing techniques (blowing out birthday candles, butterfly breath, hot cocoa breath, and starfish breath). Our young yogis practiced boat, dancer, forward fold, lotus, table, tree, and warrior pose in our guided yoga adventure. Students expressed even though yoga was a little challenging, they loved it and can’t wait to do yoga again! It is so encouraging to see our young yogis persevere!
