One of our valued traditions at Crestview is our annual birthday celebration. The sixth grade class is responsible for creating this Crestview community event. Planning starts when the previous sixth grade finishes their birthday planning by leaving reflections and observations for the next year’s class.
This year’s sixth grade have worked hard as a group to plan a variety of fun activities for the entire school. They started by creating an order form for everyone to order lunch from The Habit truck. Next, they planned stations for everyone to play, including an obstacle course, tag or dodgeball, musical chairs, and a water relay race. The class also decided that everyone needed a break time in the afternoon so they planned some quieter activities including a coloring station and a rousing game of Pictionary.
The party continued with our annual dance party which is a time for the whole campus to celebrate our school. This year, the sixth grade have restarted the annual sixth grade/faculty softball game. Ask your student who won!
Thank you to our sixth grade for demonstrating our values of Community, Responsibility, Empathy, Sincerity, and Thinking through their planning and execution of this time-honored tradition. Well done sixth grade!
