Kindergarten

Kindergarten took a trip to the Natural History Museum, and we are excited to share the hands-on exploration and interactive exhibits we experienced there. The Butterfly Pavilion was one of the highlights of our trip where students had the opportunity to observe the beauty of these winged creatures. This experience was especially meaningful as we've been delving into the lifecycle of butterflies in class. We were also able to get our hands on a few butterfly kits and have enjoyed watching our live caterpillars go through metamorphosis!

Another thrilling adventure awaited our kindergarteners at the museum as they ventured into the realm of dinosaurs. Students participated in a scavenger hunt where they identified dinosaurs amidst the fossilized remains and towering skeletons. This excursion was the perfect springboard for our upcoming unit on these prehistoric creatures. Inspired by their discoveries, our young paleontologists prepared a short presentation on a dinosaur of their choice to finish off our week.
