Over the last month, we have been learning all about the life cycle of butterflies. To help us understand this process, we created beautiful pictures, wrote lovely poetry, and painted symmetrical butterflies. Kindergartners also visited the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum to experience the butterfly exhibit. We even had caterpillars in class and watched their magical transformation. Kindergartners have learned a lot about these delicate yet mighty creatures. It is exciting to think about what is to come as our students flutter off to their next learning adventure.
