Over the past month in Coach Alfredo’s PE class, Crestview's backfield has transformed into a golf course, where students have been trading their sneakers for imaginary golf shoes and working on their swings! Students have been building their golf skills, practicing form, and improving hand-eye coordination—oh, and let’s not forget patience (golf can be quite challenging).
Coach Alfredo has designed fun Topgolf-style competitions in which students aim for targets and compete to see who can get closest to the hole. In true golf fashion, they’ve also played several holes to simulate a real round, giving them a chance to practice accuracy and control. So, if you hear your child talking about birdies or bogeys, rest assured—they’re just getting ready for the PGA Tour...or at least, aiming for the next class victory!
Grab your clubs, Crestview—it’s game time on the green!
