We are thrilled to share the success of a recent third-grade project that combined math, creativity, and real-world problem-solving!

Thank you to the parents, teachers, and students who shared their family traditions for Diwali and Día de los Muertos! Your stories, decorations, activities, and treats brought these celebrations to life for our students. We are grateful for the chance to experience these meaningful traditions together!

Crestview Council elections showcased inspiring speeches from students eager to lead and make a positive impact on our school community.

Upper Elementary students are exploring barred instruments and learning to improvise together, building musicianship and teamwork. Catch their skills in action at the Winter Concert on December 17th!

This year’s Walk-a-thon, held last Sunday, was a fantastic day filled with community spirit, record-breaking achievements, and lots of fun! We owe a huge thank you to our Walk-a-thon committee co-chairs, Jacquelyn Hrobuchak, Emily Griffin, and Kelly O'Toole, our Parent Association Co-chairs, Katy Brown and Carlin Wong, Mrs. G, and all of our parent volunteers and staff for making this event a success.

In Crestview’s Design Thinking program, our elementary students are rolling up their sleeves and diving into real-world challenges with creativity and innovation. From designing tools that help small hands reach high places to crafting wildlife crossings for our local animals, students in every grade are building practical solutions to big problems. It's truly inspiring to see these young minds at work on projects that combine hands-on problem solving with a deep sense of empathy.

This summer our Crestview lower elementary teachers participated in a training on Orton-Gillingham, a research-based literacy instruction method.

Congratulations to our Crestview Rockets flag football team for winning all three of its games this week!! From deep catches and amazing running plays to tireless defense and support for one another, these games had it all.

In fourth grade, our students have been hard at work in writing class! We recently wrapped up our “Best Part of Me” assignment, where students paired their heartfelt writing with black-and-white photos to highlight what makes them special. Now, we’ve jumped into small-moment narrative writing.
